Don't
cry
for
me
I
am
always
with
you
each
day
from
the
start.
I
am
forever
near,
since
I
live
within
your
heart.

Gil
The
memory
of
your
spirit
will
glow
brightly
on
In
the
hearts
you've
touched.

Gil
was
born
in
RI
on
November
1,
1958
and
went
to
Heaven
on
August
15,
2002.
He
was
still
legally
married
and
raised
2
stepchildren,
one--the
boy,
Paul
is
very
close
with
us...his
wife,
Debbie
lived
in
Florida,
and
came
to
stay
with
us
for
a
few
weeks
when
this
all
happened.
The
odd
thing
that
happened
here
was
that
Deb
did
not
know
Gil
was
even
ill,
and
the
night
we
sent
him
to
the
hospital
for
the
last
time,
she
called
from
Florida
because
she
said
she
had
been
dreaming
of
Gil,
and
had
some
bad
dreams
that
he
had
passed
away.
When
we
told
her
the
situation,
she
was
in
shock
and
we
were
crying
on
the
phone
together.....When
we
hung
up
from
her,
we
had
to
call
911
for
Gil.
He
initially
resisted,
but
eventually
relented
because
he
knew
it
had
to
be.....
Deb
made
arrangements
to
drive
down
to
RI
alone,
and
arrived
here
2
days
after
Gil
had
passed.
His
son
received
a
release
from
the
military
and
flew
in
from
Hawaii.
We
also
had
family
in
from
Ohio,
Florida
and
Conn.
Gil
had
hands
that
were
magic,
and
a
Heart
of
gold
(as
did
his
Dad)..."No"
was
not
in
his
vocabulary...
He
built
houses,
and
decks
(he
built
his
mom's,
which
is
gorgeous!).
He
installed
garage
doors,
removed
asbestos
from
buildings
waiting
for
demolition.
He
could
repair
ANYTHING...and
fix
any
car
(he
had
a
mechanics
degree).
Gil
helped
to
construct
the
staging
for
The
Rolling
Stones
"Honkey
Tonk"
tour
in
Foxboro,
Mass.,
and
the
New
England
Patriots
were
his
favorite
football
team.
He
built
masterful
old
stone
walls
by
hand.
He
installed
marble
foyers
in
the
mansions
of
Newport,
RI.
He
was
a
man
of
many
talents,
and
a
master
of
all.
He
was
a
natural
comedian
without
even
trying...he
could
make
everyone
laugh
with
the
things
he
would
say....Gil
planted
a
vegetable
garden
every
year.,
he
was
an
expert
baker
of
bread,
especially
(as
you
can
see
below)...yummmmmmmmmmm

and
he
LOVED
ice
cream!
He
always
took
over
the
grill
at
family
cookouts...and
he
was
so
proud
of
his
Italian
heritage.
"Caribbean
Queen"
was
his
favorite
song,
and
it
became
his
"Wedding
Song".
Halloween
was
his
favorite
holiday.
He
loved
snow
storms,
and
hurricanes
and
tornados,
especially...his
sister
even
gave
him
a
storm
tracking
chart,
and
we
called
him
the
"storm-tracker".
Gil
was
a
gadget
collector,
he
loved
Florida,
fishing,
flea
markets,
lottery
tickets,
and
his
Dunkin'
Donuts
coffee...
We
will
always
miss
Gil's
"famous"
foot-high
apple
pies.
He
made
the
best!
Every
year
on
his
sister's
birthday
in
July,
he
would
take
her
for
twin
baked
stuffed
lobsters
at
this
certain
restaurant.
This
was
their
special
time
together,
and
we
will
never
go
there
again....
There
are
3
children
left
now;
Anthony,
William
and
Diane.
Dad
passed
away
unexpectedly
3
yrs.
ago,
and
oh,
how
Gil
cried...he
never
got
over
it,
and
neither
did
we.
We
got
that
"horrible"
phone
call
at
2AM,
and
"flew"
down
to
the
hospital....Gil
jumped
in
the
car
and
took
off
on
his
own,
and
when
we
arrived
after
him,
we
heard
this
loud
sobbing
from
Gil
and
we
knew
Dad
was
gone...
When
the
family
dog
passed
away
unexpectedly,
we
were
all
emotionally
distraught.
We
heard
a
"banging"
noise
in
the
garage,
and
within
1/2
hr.,
Gil
walked
out
with
the
most
beautiful
wooden
casket
for
Sasha...he
made
a
little
memorial
garden
in
the
backyard
for
her,
and
buried
her.
Gil
stayed
with
his
mom
when
he
became
ill.
She
lovingly
cared
for
him,
(while
her
heart
was
breaking),
and
we
all
helped
and
supported
him.
He
loved
his
mom
so
much....His
family
was
his
world......
A
mother
should
never
live
to
bury
her
child.
We
were
all
with
him
when
the
angels
came
to
take
him,
and
no
matter
how
hard
we
held
on
to
him,
he
slipped
away........
Gil
loved
Life.......

"Heaven
is
no
longer
missing
an
Angel
"

If
love
could
build
a
stairway,
and
memories
a
lane.
We'd
march
right
up
to
heaven
and
bring
you
home
again.

The
memory
of
your
spirit
will
glow
brightly
on
in
the
hearts
you've
touched
