I wrote this letter just several
days after Heidi left us. I sent it in all of
the thank you cards from the funeral., and now I would like to share
it with all
of you.

Remembering Heidi
To all of you who knew Heidi--Remember her the way she was--she was
full of life,
sweet, and touched so many
of you.
The loss is unbearable--our hearts ache--our lives will never be the
same again!
God decided to take her to be an angel for him.
We don't understand why--we
can't grasp the reason.
This terrible tragedy has made
such an impact on all of our lives.
Perhaps God needed to do this to show us something or teach us
something,
and he just needed our Heidi to
whatever he needed to do.
She had the strength of many, a heart so full of love.
My heart aches so very
much for her
sweet laughter, and her
caring
embrace, her beautiful smile.
We were so lucky that we had her--if even just for a little while.
She was a very special little
girl,
and if God saw to it that you
had the chance to be a part of her life---
treasure those memories, because
God gave you a little angel to love for a
very short while.
We were all very lucky to have had her for this short time on earth
with us.
Now we are sure she is in heaven looking down on us.
And someday we will be reunited with her, and her beautiful smile.
She was a gift from God. She is the sunshine, the rain, the snow
that falls....
the beautiful flowers, birds,
and butterflies.
She is the brightest star in the sky. Remember that. She was so
beautiful---
a woman and a child.
God just reached down and scooped her up in His arms, and I am sure
she smiled.
Remember her beauty!
To those of you who really care---thank you!
Thank you for all of
your prayers and support.
Without the strength that she has given me,
I would never have been
able to write this letter.
I love you, Heidi---and I miss you so very much!
You are my sunshine!!!!
All my love for an eternity,
Mom
